    Okay, two more annoying phrases often heard in SoCal:

    1. You say something that is hard to fathom.

    Common response: “For reals?”

    Yes, with an “s.”

    2. “I did that ON accident.” I’ve been in my kids classes when I’ve heard the teachers use “on accident” instead of “by accident.”

    And I love when I get an email from my kid’s language arts teacher riddled with grammatical and spelling errors. Gives me faith in the education he’s receiving.
